Daniel Roth is known throughout the world as one of the top interpreters of the music of Charles-Marie Widor. In this release a Mr. Roth plays Widor Symphonies # 9 (Gothic) and # 10 (Romaine) on the Cavaille-Coll pipe organ at Saint-Sulpice in Paris, France. Cavaille-Coll’s masterpiece at Saint-Sulpice is still largely left as he would have known the pipe organ in the mid 19th century.
