Joe Vitacco, Founder and Owner of JAV Recordings, Inc.

JAV Recordings was founded in 1997 with one mission in mind: to record musicians of the highest caliber, performing on exceptional pipe organs across North America and Europe. Since then, we have been privileged to work with the best talent imaginable, from the artists performing the music, to those behind the scenes producing the comprehensive booklets with photographs and essays that accompany our albums.

In 2001, JAV Recordings made our first recording in France at Saint-Sulpice, and since then, we have made annual pilgrimages to Europe. Our goal each year is to record different pipe organs to capture the history of this rich instrument. We are excited that various forms of media such as iTunes, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, now allow us to more effectively interact and communicate with JAV customers from around the world. On our website, we plan to utilize various methods, such as the posting of picture and video blogs, to provide pipe organ enthusiasts with a true behind-the-scenes look at the production of our music..

In the upcoming months and years, JAV hopes to continue doing our part in promoting the pipe organ, by finding ways to involve our youth in recordings, encouraging churches to use their pipe organs as a means of putting together a quality liturgy, and continuing to produce top notch recordings that our loyal customers have come to rightfully expect.
